Our route will take us though Winters, along the west side of Lake Berryessa, through Pope Valley, up the Ink Grade and down into the Napa Valley to Calistoga.

This is a great drive and the scenery is beautiful. Most of the roads have been recently repaved, so it should be smooth sailing.

We plan to have lunch at Pacifico Restaurante, 1237 Lincoln Ave., in Calistoga.

We plan to meet at the Costco Gas station in Woodland,

2299 Bronze Star Drive, at 9 a.m., and depart at 9:30.
