Fuel Pump Woes

I would like to cover the fuel pump for the late model rubber bumper MGB. If you find your fuel pump is inoperative, do check two things before fitting a new pump. First the ground lead, this is attached to the rear license plate mounting bolt and over time will rust and give your pump a bad ground. I would recommend adding an additional ground lead to your pump. Also make sure that the inertial fuel cutoff switch has not been tripped, this is located under the driver side dash, just put your finger on top of the switch to make sure the plunger is pushed down, this switch turns off the fuel pump in the event of collision. So always check your feed and ground wires first.
