Denis & Pat Rainey's
'55 MGTF 1500, named Harriet, was acquired in Dec. 2000 from the Bay
Area. Harriet has been around the valley on wine tour runs, as well as
the trip to Lake Almanor and Mt. Lassen, with no ill effects of from
the altitude or extended drive. In addition, Harriet may be the only
MGTF 1500 that has been to England twice. Her previous owners took her
over for a return visit and event there several years ago. |
 |
Rosco a '65 MGB also
belongs to the Rainey's and arrived in the Sacramento area from San
Diego in December 1999. Rosco took his first drive with us up the
California coast upon delivery. He, like Harriet, likes to stop to
visit scenic areas and wineries. He has proven to us that he is a
dependable guy and has taken us on several extended trips including
Santa Maria and Bodega Bay. |
 |
It is a 1978 MGB and the
photo was taken this past March at Donner Summit as we (Ann & Rich
Byfield) live at Incline Village, Nevada. Our new Nevada license plates
read SVMGCC. |

John Redmond - I bought this car in
1962. It served me during my last year in school, through a hitch in the
Air Force and on into my marriage. After major breakdown about 20 years
ago, I couldn't bring myself to sell it though I had neither time to
funds to do anything with it. Eventually, I did start the restoration
and the task was finished in August 2006 and this picture is at a show
in Santa Rosa in September |
