This picture shows our arrival at GoF West
'94 at Kananaskas resort near Calgary, Alberta. Standing on the fireplug is Chris Nowlan,
Moss Motors' well-known product development manager. |
 |
As the group of Club members left GoF West
'94, we crossed the great divide on our way to Vancouver,BC. |
 |
The other side of the divide looking
forward to the sights and fun awaiting us in Revelstoke. Valerie Howard Hogue is next to
the MGB-GT. Jane and Lawrie Alexander are in the MGA. Shelley and Michael Jensen are by
their MG-TD. |
 |
After Revelstoke we stopped in Kelowna, the
home of the lake monster Okopogo. Lake Okanagan is approximately 70 miles long! While
staying overnight with friends of the Alexanders, Mike Jensen's TD had a tire and wheel
re-balanced to cure a vibration. It looks worse than it really was.... |
 |
Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta. They
would not even let us near it for fear of leaks on their driveway - (just kidding). |
 |
One more from GoF '94 in Canada. This is
Lake Louise and it was windy. Left to right: Mike Jensen, Jane Alexander, Corey Hogue,
Valerie Howard Hogue, Shelley Jensen. |
 |
While in Kananaskas we had the good luck to
see this early roadster with matching custom trailer made from two MGB trunks back to
back. |

A picture from GoF West '93 at the car
show. Notice the "dickie seat". |
 |
Where do you go when you're on vacation in
a foreign land? Of course, you go to the nearest British dealership! We had an enjoyable
visit with Colin Fitzgerald at his Octagon Motor Group business in Vancouver BC. |
 |
Stuck in Eureka, California! It seems
whenever we stop all the hinges need to be checked for operation. We were almost home when
Lawrie's generator ceased to generate. |
|
Thanks to Val and Corey Hogue for the above
